The NEAT Allergy Elimination Program
Understanding allergies is the key to success
Knowing exactly what you are allergic to is often very difficult. Food allergies, in particular, are difficult to identify and are frequently misunderstood by conventional medicine.
Additionally, the body has many different ways of reacting to particular allergens. Often times these adverse reactions are not found by conventional diagnosis.
Dr. Eric's personal experience with allergies and asthma as well as his clinical experience and comprehensive approach make him uniquely qualified to help heal your allergies naturally.
What should I expect?
During each NEAT allergy elimination session, the goal is first to identify potential allergies or sensitivities and second to reverse your sensitivity to these allergens. Upon completion of the NEAT series, you will have been tested for thousands of allergens, including items from your own home.
What types of allergies are tested?
Suspected allergens are grouped into the following categories. Typically one category is addressed per visit.

- Wheat, Gluten, Grains
- Dairy, Eggs
- Soy, Corn,
Oils, Fish/Shellfish
- Food additives, preservatives, and colorings
- Dust, Dust Mites, Pollen, Ragweed
- Grasses, Trees, Smuts/Rusts, Molds
- Inhalants, Fumes, Exhaust, Solvents
- Herbicides, Pesticides, Plastics, Carcinogens
- Patients can bring items from their own homes to test! Bring in samples of the plants that bloom in your yard and gather up the cleaning products that you use in your home. Many people bring in the fur from their pets, allowing them to be tested not for generic "cat" or "dog" allergies, but to be tested for allergies to their own pets!
- Items are retested in a follow up session to ensure successful allergy elimination. Many patients benefit from 1-2 "tune-up" sessions per year thereafter to prevent allergies from flaring up.
What happens during each appointment?
During each session, Dr. Eric uses Electrodermal Screening (EDS) to
measure the effects specific allergens have on the body. (Read more about Electrodermal Screening).
Each visit lasts approximately 30 minutes and is designed to permanently change the way your body respond to allergens.
No shots or medicines!
Once the allergens have been identified, a remedy is prepared from the findings of the EDS machine. The patient's allergies are then eliminated by an acupressure treatment session performed by Dr. Eric.
Attention to detail
Dr. Eric also takes the time each visit to discuss how to prevent allergies at home that relate to that particular session. This is part of his commitment to teach his patients the principles of a healthy lifestyle and to integrate help for allergies into a comprehensive naturopathic program.
