Getting Here--Detour during Biltmore Avenue Bridge Construction
From the North (Weaverville, Johnson City)
* Go on 19/23 South (future I-26 East) toward Asheville.
* Take the I-240 East Expressway (Downtown) exit off of 19/23. Then get in right hand lane to take the right fork (Expressway)
* Go 1.0 mile and take exit 5B (Charlotte Street)
* Turn right at the end of the exit ramp onto Charlotte Street
* Go 0.8 mile (through two lights), and then get into the left hand lane
* Take a left at the third light onto Biltmore Avenue
* Get in the right hand lane once on Biltmore Ave. for 1.0 mile.
* After passing the hospitals, take a right onto St. Dunstans Road (at the Beverly Condominiums). There is no traffic light at this intersection.
* Take your first left onto Sterling Street. LFNH is the second house on the right.
* Parking is located behind the building; there is also handicapped parking in the front.
Please Note: From January until approximately May 2010, the bridge south of our office on
Biltmore Avenue will be closed for repair. During that time, we suggest the following detour routes
as the easiest way to reach our office and avoid construction traffic and road closures:
From the South (Hendersonville, Greenville, Spartanburg)
* Take I-26 West toward Asheville
* Merge onto I-40 East via Exit 31A toward Hickory
* Go 4.0 miles and take exit 50 (Hwy 25, South Asheville)
* Turn left at the light at the end of the ramp onto Hendersonville Road.

From the West (Knoxville, Sylva)
* Take I-40 East toward Asheville
* Get off at exit 50 (Hwy 25, South Asheville)
* Turn left at the light at the end of the ramp onto Hendersonville Road.

From the East (Marion, Morganton, Black Mountain)
* Take I-40 West toward Asheville
* Get off at exit 50-B for Asheville (Biltmore Estate)
* At the end of the ramp you will turn right onto Hendersonville Road.

Once you are on Hendersonville Road…
* Continue straight on Hendersonville Road (which will become Biltmore Avenue) for 1.2 miles. At the second light, you will see 2 lanes of traffic veering left toward the Biltmore Estate—get in one of these left lanes and head toward the Biltmore Estate/Highway 25/McDowell Street.
* Drive past the Biltmore Estate entrance (on your left), go over a bridge. At the end of the bridge is a light for St. Dunstans. Your GPS might tell you this is a good place to turn, but we don't recommend it. It's a VERY confusing, curvy street at this location. Instead, go through this light and get into the right lane.
* In 0.2 miles, you will see a small side street on your right called Grindstaff. There is no traffic light at this street. The business located at that corner is called "Canine Shear Heaven" (a pet grooming store) and you will see Asheville High School on your left. Turn right onto Grindstaff Street.
* Follow Grindstaff 0.25 miles until it dead-ends into St. Dunstans. Turn left onto St. Dunstans.
* Take your first right onto Sterling Street. LFNH is in the second building on the right. Parking is located behind the building; there is also handicapped parking in the front.
