General Questions
-
What are your office hours?
-
Our normal hours for seeing patients are Monday-Thursday 9:30-4:30 and Friday 9:30-12:30. Please contact us to schedule an appointment that works for you and your schedule. We can sometimes accommodate earlier or later appointments on a case-by-case basis.
-
Where is your office located?
-
L
ewis Family Natural Health is located in the heart of Asheville. We are just south of Mission Hospital, just north of Biltmore Village, and a few minutes from the entrance to the Biltmore Estate. We are also very close to an exit off of I-40. Despite being centrally located, we are on a small side street providing privacy and quiet that you wouldn't expect from such a busy part of town.
-
How can I contact you?
-
The best ways to reach us are by telephone (828-298-4800) or by email.
-
Do you take insurance?
-
Naturopathic medicine is not routinely covered by insurance in North Carolina at this time. Some Health Savings Accounts/Flex Spending Plans can be used to pay for our services. We recommend you contact your plan directly to see what they will or will not cover.
Because there is no insurance coverage at this time for our alternative medical services and most patients must pay out of pocket, we do offer various discounts and packages available to work within your budget. Please ask us for more details.
Despite the lack of insurance coverage, many patients report that they save money over time through reduced medication, less time off from work, and prevention of future more costly health care problems. One popular service we offer is streamlining your supplements so that you don’t waste money on supplements that may not be helping you. If you compare our prices to other holistic practitioners in the area, you should find them to be fair and reasonable. We pledge to never recommend an unnecessary service, product, or lab test.
-
I live in another city or state. Do you offer telephone consultations?
-
For patients wishing to be seen by Dr. Eric or Dr. Kristina who live far
away or who are unable to physically visit our office, we offer
telephone appointments. While we recommend that first office visits be
made in-person, arrangements can be made on an individual basis. -
Is your office handicap accessible?
-
Yes. The entire office is located on the first floor with a handicap ramp leading to the front door. Inside there are wide hallways and doorways as well as a roomy bathroom with plenty of room for a wheelchair. There is also a designated handicap parking space in front of our building.
